Villandry is primarily inspired after Chatuea De Villandry, a castle in France. It is known for its beautiful architectural gardens and rich history. The design is romantic and fairy tale like that is also inspired by the organic tamed nature of the gardens. The packaging is reconstructed for planting bulbs that uses Eco-friendly materials.

The Gaea is the goddess of the spirit of life, growth, harvest, and renewal on Earth. The Organic Tea Company includes tea products that reach new heights of quality and creative innovation. The Gaea packaging is designed for high quality and great tasting teas that are crafted by artisans. The company includes packaging for loose-leaf and single bag tea lovers. You can also see a special gift set that includes a sample of each tea from the Gaea company.

Bubble Gum Package Design | 2011

Gumba is Italian sland for "friends". The playful packaging shape has two levels of the square form and the top opens like a milk carton. The individual character illustrations are designed for enjoyment beyond the product that is contained within itself as a toy or collectible.

The Monsterous Playing Cards are a more playful and fun illustration design. The deck contains nine different characters that all have unique personalities to bring out the energy in the cards. The concept is designed for children and uses a four color pallet.

Each character depicts a different narrative that relates to Surviving a Music Festival. With a highly research based process, this fun, magical and colorful design came to life.

D.R.E.A.M.. stands for Dedication, Responsibility, Education, Attitude, and Motivation. The 2013 Calendar is full of famous dreamers who played some sort of role within the month they are depicted in. The calendar contains a two volume star book that opens into a 3D star shape that can be tied together with the ribbon.

Dynamic Typography After Effects Video, click on video to view | 2012

"Brand New Key" is a pop song written by folk singer Melanie, which became a hit in the early 1970s. The song is sung from the viewpoint of a girl with roller skates trying to attract the attention of a boy. The video incorporates both illustration and typography in narrating the story within the song. The color theme is inspired by the 70s with “love” birds as the main characters in the animation.

NASA PROSPECT

NASA Prospect is a collaboration design between six individuals. NASA came to our class to create a website for middle schoolers to interact and learn more about outer space. Prospect is an interactive story of the planet prospectors, left behind by NASA to recover the golden objects scattered across the solar-system.
